hmm...

Splendida serie, Wind! Nici n-as putea stabili o ierrahie! Parca, totusi, calul cu perechea lui...

The 'lake' pictures are amazing. Look like small hands reaching out through the cold of ice / life / time.
If possible would you please lock me into one of those houses ?! Wish i had the courage to get up and travel towards this great country of yours ... Please have a good Wednesday.

These photos of winter have gotta be your best yet, well done indeed. You never cease to amaze me. Standout's for me are the poor leaning park bench that looks like it will collapse at any moment under the weight of the snow, the rearview mirror poking out of the snow drift that made be smile :-), and finally the heart shape carved in the snow, very cute.

Inca suntem in ianuarie, mai e din iarna...
Eu astept vara :)))

Winter's main element - the snow - looks very romantic in your photos. It covers softly everything in its way: trees, house roos, roads, benches, bridges, fields.

I particularly like those photos that have people in them. People always make a picture more interesting.

Cand am zarit titlul, m-am zburlit instantaneu: in niciun caz, iarna vesnica!

The shapes in the 3rd one really caught my eye, but all found beauty through your eyes. Winter offers some different shots. I used to do more black and white during the winter months.

This is a wonderful group of images, Wind! You have such a great eye for contrast and composition. I think the only good thing about a very snowy winter (we have another big storm arriving tonight!) is that it makes a great opportunity for stunning black and white photography! My cameras are ready!

Hi Wind, firstly, congratulations on the new size of your images... they look great. There is always something special and unique about snow photos whether they have footprints or tyre tracks or pure like the steps. A wonderful set of images covering a variety of photographic themes. A nice story about the horse. I love some of the other shots as well.... the car mirror "now where does my key fit ?!!", the icicle, the straight road with the tree composition, the window and your seat which is collapsing with the weight of all that snow !! Have a great weekend and enjoy the exhibition that you thought about going to see, regards, J

joanna said...

This is so creative, I love that you show the curving lines, and the footprints and frozen plants as abstract art, my favorite is "Playboy" I love that he was rescued from going to the slaughter house-- one reason why I do not eat meat anymore. He is a beautiful little pony,
warm wishes from the pacific north west.
