 R.E.M. - Oh my Heart

the kids have a new take
a new take on faith
pick up the pieces

I came home to city half erased
I came home to face what we faced

Abația  Melk este situată pe un deal stâncos cu vedere spre

Umberto Eco denumește unul din protagoniștii
romanului său Numele trandafirului, după numele acestei abații, "Adso von Melk".

Melk Abbey is an Austrian Benedictine abbey, and one of
the world's most famous monastic sites. It is located above
the town of Melk on a rocky outcrop overlooking the river
Danube in Lower Austria, adjoining the Wachau valley.
In his well-known novel The Name of the Rose, Umberto Eco
named one of the protagonists "Adso von Melk"
as a tribute to the abbey and its famous library.
