Illusion

Vama Veche (historical names: Ilanlâk, Ilanlâc, Turkish: Ilanlık) is a village in Constanţa County, Romania, on the Black Sea coast, near the border with Bulgaria, at 28.57 E longitude, 43.75 N latitude. It is part of the commune of Limanu and in 2002, it had a population of 178.
It was founded in 1811 by a few Gagauz families, originally being named "Ilanlîk". Its current name literally means "Old customs point", named so after Southern Dobruja (the Cadrilater) had been included in Romania in 1913. In 1940, however, that region was returned to Bulgaria, and the village has since lain once again near the border, but the name stuck.
Even in Communist Romania, Vama Veche had the reputation of a non-mainstream tourist destination, which has only grown since the Romanian Revolution of 1989. During the communist era, concern for border patrol sight lines spared Vama Veche the development that occurred in other Romanian Black Sea resorts. It became a hangout for intellectuals; for reasons that are not exactly clear, the generally repressive regime of Nicolae Ceauşescu chose to tolerate this countercultural oasis, as long as people had their identity papers with them. Accommodations consisted of tents or rooms rented from peasants or fishermen.[2] While camping is theoretically not permitted, to this day, many visitors or semi-permanent residents still stay in tents on the beach.( wiki)

In a forest known as heartbreak
In a clearing in the wood
'Cross a pathway called confusion
Toward the garden of delight

You'll reach the river of desire
And meekly try and cross it
While the valley of love
Keeps avoiding you
Because it's only an illusion
Only an illusion

Upon the hill of high ideals
You begin to wonder if it's real
You are reaching sleep's oasis
You begin to wonder how you feel

But it happens so quickly
It doesn't fit into your scenes
Tossin' and turnin'
The star of so many scenes
It's only an illusion

Adrian Păunescu 20 July 1943 – 5 November 2010

IN MEMORIAM
Adrian Păunescu
20 July 1943 – 5 November 2010
daliana©

Adrian Păunescu (20 July 1943 – 5 November 2010) was a Romanian poet, journalist, and politician. Though criticized for praising dictator Nicolae Ceauşescu,Păunescu was called "Romania's most famous poet" in an Associated Press story, quoted by the New York Times.
And yet love exists
And yet curse exists
I let the world know
I love, I have faith, I’m afraid.

And yet wakefulness is
And yet we die repeatedly
And yet I believe in soul mate
And yet something has changed.

Demands from the world I don’t have,
A bed, darkness and you.
We step into nameless love,
The shiver like thunder struck.

World’s engines are shut,
Networks on roads have fallen,
A great desert lies around.
Wake them with a kiss, you!

Now I declare you goddess,
I myself I feel god.
Carry the world on, woman,
With children on my name.

Outside swarm darknesses
Here we are luminous.
Quarrel between religions
Blaming each other the same.

You and love, both exist
And death exists in love.
I like you more when you are sad
Sadness, in fact, is yours.

Knees I bow on the floors,
I tilt my head on the sky,
You are in my powers now
Although inquisitions want you.

My words are twisted received,
I return to the first syllable.
I throw down the forest over you:
“Goodbye, … I mean, stay!”

And yet love exists
And yet curse exists
I let the world know
I love, I have faith, I’m afraid.
translated from Romanian language by Daniela Toma

Totusi, iubirea

Si totusi există iubire
Si totusi există blestem
Dau lumii, dau lumii de stire
Iubesc, am curaj si mă tem.
Si totusi e stare de veghe
Si totusi murim repetat
Si totusi mai cred în pereche
Si totusi ceva sa-ntâmplat.
Pretentii nici n-am de la lume
Un pat, întuneric si tu
Intrăm în amor fără nume
Fiorul ca fulger căzu.
Motoarele lumii sunt stinse
Retele pe căi au căzut
Un mare pustiu pe cuprins e
Trezeste-le tu c-un sărut.
Acum te declar Dumnezee
Eu însumi mă simt Dumnezeu
Continuă lumea femeie
Cu plozi scrisi în numele meu.
Afară roiesc întunerici
Aici suntem noi luminosi
Se ceartă-ntre ele biserici
Făcându-si acelasi repros.
Si tu si iubirea există
Si moartea există în ea
Imi place mai mult când esti tristă
Tristetea, de fapt, e a ta.
Genunchii mi-i plec pe podele
Cu capul mă sprijin de cer,
Tu esti în puterile mele,
Desi închizitii te cer.
Ce spun se aude aiurea,
Mă-ntorc la silaba dintâi,
Prăval peste tine pădurea:
Adio, adică rămâi.
Si totusi există iubire
Si totusi există blestem
Dau lumii, dau lumii de stire
Iubesc, am curaj si mă tem.

Om Mani Padme Hum

OM MANI PADME HUM ( OM MANI PEME HUNG )
The Jewel in the Lotus - The Mantra of Compassion
This is the highest Mantra for mankind
gifted to us by the thousand Buddhas
out of their compassion
for all sentient beings.

It will protect us from all harm ,
sufferings , ill health , hell regions,

It will purify us and free us from all our negative
emotions of the Mind and speech.

This mantra saves us from the hell regions and
hungry ghosts which we have to encounter during
and after death.

Hence it is beneficial and a most valubale saviour
not only during Life on Earth
but also after Life , when we have to remain
and pass through the six Hell regions in the Bardos.

Each syllable in this six syllable Mantra liberates us
from one realm of suffering out of each of the six realms
of suffering filled existence.
OM liberates and purifies us from the emotions of
bliss and pride in the samsaric realm
of the Gods.
MA liberates and purifies us from the emotions of
jealousy and lust for entertainment in the samsaric realm
of Demi-Gods.
NI liberates and purifies us from the emotions of
passion and desire in the samsaric realm
of Humans.
PAD liberates and purifies us from the emotions of
stupidity and prejudice in the samsaric realm
of animals.
ME liberates and purifies us from the emotions of
poverty and possessiveness in the samsaric realm
of hungry ghosts.

HUM liberates and purifies us from the emotions of
agression and hatred in the samsaric realm
of hell.

In this way by freeing our consciousness ,
our spirit energy from the neurotic attachments
that our senses are bonded with through
the cravings and aversions constantly
taking place inside of us ...

and in this way creating negative karmas
that keep us bound to sufferings
and also creating samsara.

The mantra OM MANI PADME HUM
purifies us at 3 levels -

Mind, Speech and Body

and in this way liberates us
from all our negative karmas.
Within a short time of meditating on this Mantra ,
you will experience the opening and development of your
heart chakra and begin to feel highly kind and compassionate
towards other sentient beings including animals ,
even the tiny helpless ones .
You will develop a magnetic aura around you that will draw
other people towards you , attracting them like a magnet
attracts iron filings and love wll begin to flow in your Life.
Saying this mantra for 21 minutes daily will energise and
develop your Heart Chakra and .....
when the Heart and Mind become united ,
anything is possible.

This Mantra is popularly known as
" The Jewel in the Lotus "or
" The Diamond in the Lotus "
( "mani" means Diamond , a precious jewel
and Padma means Lotus flower which is the
spiritual symbol of consciousness )
The Jewel refers to the Mind or consciousness and
the Lotus refers to the Heart that is the source of Love energy
The meaning of OM MANI PADME HUM is
"Om , salutations to the Jewel of consciousness (the Mind)
which has reached the Heart's lotus. "
A Very Very Important Message Regarding Mantras
Your outer world is governed by
your inner world, so Divine Powers
that are generated inside you ,
now start making all positive events
happen in your life in the outer world.

Nelumbo nucifera, known by a number of names including Indian lotus, sacred lotus, bean of India, or simply lotus, is one of two species of aquatic plant in the family Nelumbonaceae.
From ancient times the lotus has been a divine symbol in Asian traditions representing the virtues of sexual purity and non-attachment.
Hindus revere it with the divinities Vishnu and Lakshmi often portrayed on a pink lotus in iconography. In the representation of Vishnu as Padmanabha (Lotus navel), a lotus issues from his navel with Brahma on it. Goddess Sarasvati is portrayed on a white-colored lotus.
Often used as an example of divine beauty, Vishnu is often described as the 'Lotus-Eyed One'. Its unfolding petals suggest the expansion of the soul. The growth of its pure beauty from the mud of its origin holds a benign spiritual promise. In Hindu iconography, other deities, like Ganga and Ganesha are often depicted with lotus flowers as their seats.
The lotus plant is cited extensively within Puranic and Vedic literature, for example:
One who performs his duty without attachment, surrendering the results unto the Supreme Lord, is unaffected by sinful action, as the lotus is untouched by water.
—Bhagavad Gita 5.10:
In Chinese culture Confucian scholar Zhou Dunyi wrote:
I love the lotus because while growing from mud, it is unstained.

Lotusul Sacru
