There's a house with no door and I'm living there
at nights it gets so cold and the days are hard to bear inside.
There's a house with no roof, so the rain creeps in,
falling through my head as I try to think out time
I don't know you, you say you know me, there's so much that I am unsure of ...
There's a house with no bell, but then nobody calls;
I sometimes find it hard to tell if any are alive at all outside...
There's a house with no sound; yes, it's quiet there, there's not much point in words if there's no-one to share in time.
I've learned my lines, I am ready to tell whoever will finally come in
There's a house with no door
and there's no living there: one day it became a wall well I didn't really care at the time.
There's a house with no light,
all the windows are sealed,
overtaxed and strained NOW NOTHING IS REVEALED BUT TIME
There's a house with no door and I'm living there
at nights it gets so cold
and the days are hard to bear inside.
There's a house with no roof, so the rain creeps in,
falling through my head as I try to think out time.
I don't know you, you say you know me,
that may be so,
there's so much that I am unsure of ...
You call my name, but it sounds unreal,
I forget how I feel, my body's rejecting the cure.
There's a house with no bell, but then nobody calls;
I sometimes find it hard to tell
if any are alive at all outside.
There's a house with no sound; yes, it's quiet there
there's not much point in words
if there's no-one to share in time.
I've learned my lines, I know them so well,
I am ready to tell
whoever will finally come in
Of the line in my mind that's cold in the night,
it doesn't seem right
when there's that little dark figure running ...
There's a house with no door
and there's no living there:
one day it became a wall ...
well I didn't really care at the time.
There's a house with no light,
all the windows are sealed,
overtaxed and strained NOW NOTHING IS REVEALED BUT TIME
I don't know you, you say you know me,
that may be so,
there's so much that I am unsure of ...
You call my name, but it sounds unreal,
I forget how I feel,
my body's rejecting the cure .....
Won't somebody help me ......?

or wouldn't it rather be called :
"doors with no house"!!"
Beautiful, beautiful series. I would live there..........
wonderful serie and nice song :)
Very much a ghost town !
Que buenos reportajes fotográficos nos expones Wind.
Siempre lleno de detalles, origianles encuadres y bonitas tonalidades.
Felicitaciones.

Very nice! It’s a delight to watch it
These are absolutely wonderful!
As always, a wonderful serie from you wind. Great work.
Beautiful pictures Wind, congratulation.
Greetings, Sandro & Cristina

I can't even express how much I love this post. The images are wonderful and filled with emotion both sad and radiant. The buildings, windows, and doors in their glory former and present. You've paired the lyric so well. Thank you for sharing.
Really stunning images! Love the intensity throughout the series. Wonderful! =)
foarte "vii" fotografiile tale si culorile sunt extraordinare! o placere sa privesti! seara faina!
Eine interessante Fotoserie sehr schön fotografiert.

Wonderful series!
Bonza photos, i especially like the face in the 13th photo :-).
multzumesc mult... la fel
Delightful collection of doors each more poetic. A series approaches as a book of poems, wonderful!
This is a magnificent series, Daliana. Of that, there is no doubt.
There are a million adjectives I could use to praise these photographs, and, many of them I have written here in the past, but the one thing I do want to emphasize at this moment in time is that many of them rise above mere "pictures" and enter the realm of art.
I know everyone must earn their daily bread, but I think all your time (well, most of it) should be devoted to producing books.
What a touching and poignant series. It hits all the way to the soul. So sad yet beautiful in their own way. I wonder about the ghosts who have been left behind. This is awesome photography...a special treat for tired eyes tonight. I have had to look through them twice they are so beautiful. genie
Dear Wind, what an extra ordinary series you show to a hous-lover. Big hugs to you, you are really giving everything of your selv.
An excellent serie!
Bravo!
Greetings
Elisa, in Argentina
Gorgeous photos:)
The photographs are wonderful,
each and every one.
Combined with the lyrics though,

The texture and color in these photos is beautiful! I love the olive green door with the red flowers. Thank you for sharing!
No more words ... AMAZING!
frumoasa serie
It is sad... I recognised the old Bucharest in some shots, it's a pitty...
Well, your shots are pure art!
Have a nice day!
Such a haunting, fascinating series of photos! Like drama slowly increasing to a climax! Just beautiful!
No more words... beautiful work, amazing snaps.

Ok - this is seriously cool. Totally made my morning ....
thank you!!
frumoasa serie...draguta tema :)
You certainly aren't a "stuck" photographer. You have an "eye" for images. Excellent job!

" I sometimes find it hard to tell if any are alive at all outside... "
Wow I love these pictures! This is really great street photography!
Greetings from California!
A poignant story. Such interesting contrasts within these photos. Lovely, lovely.
Amazing! Thanks for linking up... ur in my top 5!

Really amazing :)
Truly powerful images :)
Such a mixture that you would never find here in the Pacific Northwest.
Thanks for sharing, :) T.
You captured a lot of character. No stainless steel and soul-less architecture for you !
Evidence of man's handiwork slowly conceding to nature.
Very nicely done !
such interesting photographs and commentary you added (coming from PhotoArtFriday)
Beautiful series of photos! I am amazed by you creative use of perspective and composition. Well done!
Wonderful ruins.
Stunning photographs!
That photo of the door with the poppies is my favorite, though the whole post is beautiful and amazing!

wow.... you pics are awesome, is this all in romania. i just got back from romania last week, forgotten that you are there, could have asked you for tips on where about to go. sigh.....
so many doors...each revealing something different...as to what might be on the other side.
beautiful series of photos and words...
Truly brilliant! I loved the lyrics as well as the images which go so well with it.
The images manage to touch one's heart...or rather manages to break one's heart!

It is always a treat coming to your blog..
A very good job dear Daliana!!

Excellent Pictures
Good Creations
The image stabs at the heart. Does life need walls to support us? Could you do a girl a favor? I need some literary walls to support me in times of insanity and chaos.
Let me know me the book you would choose IF YOU HAD ONLY ONE LAST BOOK TO READ? and enter it on my blog.
Hey if Laura, ForestWalkerArt, is following you, I know you have insight.
Stunning masterpieces in ruins. A great way to look at the shattered side. Thanks for making this an interesting artwork, my idol.
Frumos, imi place . Felicitari si multa bafta incontinuare:)
Magnificas fotografías, como todas las tuyas.
SALUDOS.
Fantástico trabajo!
