The Village Museum
The Village Museum in Bucharest ( my favorite place ) -
is one of the most original and fascinating open air museums
and contains an unique collection of original peasant homes (they are preserved just as they were 1-2 centuries ago) drawn from around Romania.
Here you can see some details of carved wood!
Usualy I spend 4-5 hour each every two weeks. Is like a timeless journey through
history.

superb!
Great wood textures :) T.
ai un simţ al detaliului,... frumos;
The wall of the tree lets me feel warmth of the Nature.
Thank you.

There is something about aged wood that conveys wisdom and strength. You have captured those qualities beautifully, Wind. Thank you!
thank you very much for this escape and pictures that not only could be smelled, but nearly tasted as well.
hopefully someday i'll be able / allowed to visit this great city as well. please have a good new week.

Well seen, and fine shots for the day.
Breathless - these are incredible. Stark composition, simple shapes, muted hues, and pops of color - so nice.
I love how almost each photograph includes either a window, door, or stairs...all items that convey time..time spent, time looking, time seeing, time going to or from. Very nice lead-in to the song of the same title "Time". You really think about these things, don't you! A true artist.
Geniusly composed once again. I'm lost for words. Awesome.
I am not surprised you spend so much time there ir is beautiful and I like your treatment of it.
Thank you for sharing
This fabulous work with us
Good creations
Precious captures full of details, marvellous textures and tonalities. I like very much your works ... and the music that you select for the income. A cordial greeting and that you have a good week.

foarte fain reportaj..bune texturi,unghiuri si compuneri..bv
Super!!!Greetings Andrzej.
Ca si in alte serii si aici imi plac ferestrele. In general, iubesc lemnul si structura sa.
This is an amazing place, I like the way that you have caught the light at its best and the composition is fantastic. Nice one to end with reminding us where it came from. I would love to find a museum like this... otherwise I need to spend 4 - 5 hours every two weeks looking at these pictures !! regards, J
Excellent use of textures!
I've been tens of times at the Village Museum but I never see things as you do, wind.
Big big hug from Rome, my friend.
marvelous captures. love the lines and texture.
What a fantastic collection of austere beauty (now there's an ironic term you rarely get to use!)
What a wonderful museum, although I admit to liking the little bug the most. What must the world look like to him? Vast, vast, vast.
Just a bug explorer, trundling across Planet Wood, probably after a thorough examination of the Sea of Dirt.
Superbe ! Felicitari ! Ai fost la Sibiu, la Astra ?
interesante linii si umbre asezate pe planul fotografiei
Wind:
Stunning, each unique photo capturing the soul of the architecture. And the little lady bug, perfection.
I too spend time at such places, and look and touch each grain of wood, every rock, there is something calming and poetic about it.

Fascinante imagini, nespus de frumoase. Respect!
La multi ani, multe postari pe masura talentului tau, lumina favorabila, spor in toate sa-ti dea Dumnezeu!
Special series, with wonderful textures and frames very suggestive, using some of the photos an attractive abstract language.
Minunile nu se comenteaza !
great documents of time passed, imagine if the walls could speak....
What a lot of phantastic details and struktured images from this open air museum. If I would live near them, I would go there often, too. I love this kind of timeless journey through
history. Hugs from Luzia.
a lot of nice beautiful details
