I have several thoughts looking at these photographs, not the least of which is sorrow for these people, whose government has failed them. Those who rise to political power generally are inherently greedy and selfish. Among the several notable observations by Lord Acton is this one: "Great men are almost always bad men."
My next thought is the absolute contrast between these mostly adults who are acting like adults, as opposed to those student-types who take to the streets at night and whose destructive antics accomplish nothing. To them, I send my own words: Idealism is wasted on the young, who have neither the knowledge nor the experience to harness it. Stay in school and off the streets.
Finally, the photography is most excellent, Wind. It is journalistic in nature and artistic in effect (I absolutely love the faces and their expressions), and, hopefully, it someday will be viewed in the context of Romanian history.

Pacat ca in imagini predomina persoanele de varsta a 3'a, pensionarii. Din acest motiv "mica revolutie" nu este perceputa ca atare.

Imaginile sunt sugestive si foarte bine prinse....d pe chipurile surprinse nu se vefe aceea inversunare necesara pentru o schimbare...
