There are photographs and there is art produced through the lens of a camera. The work of Daliana is the latter.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what words to use to describe the images produced with this technique: Other worldly, mystical, magical, haunting .... all of them, I suppose, and others, as well. Subject matter counts and, me being me, I like the one with the dog the best. But, the one I prefer for the emotion and the feeling it instills is the one of the people at the fountain. It evokes remembrance and happiness for simply being alive.
Your musical selection is neat and the commentary has renewed my interest in Carlos Castaneda. It has been a couple of years, and it might be time to take another look at him, at his ideas, at his writing.
