I just listened to that album yesterday, and I'm seeing Roger Waters perform The Wall next year! I love these shots, they're very creative and you got the reflections just right.
Wind, this is one of my favorite themes Life for Sale.
Yes, this is a theme of waiting for someone or a dream to come true. There is also a lot of urban atmosphere were you can be lost so easy among these tall and indifferent buildings.
Love these photo work tremendously!!! And I am looking forward for more photo works about Life for Sale.
If you were to run only the photographs which include the towering buildings, I would be tempted to suggest you call them the "Tower of Babel" series. The buildings, coupled with the frozen mannequins in the windows, make me think of everyone speaking the same language, thinking the same thoughts, living the same lives.
Again, technically and imaginatively, you have created a great series, Wind. The words "photographic artist" do not go far enough to describe your work. It is superb.
By the way, I prefer the windows which show a man and a woman together. The mannequins, I mean. Somehow, those windows appear to be more natural to me, and it seems preferable to be inside looking out with a companion than by yourself.
This series was certainly a challenging undertaking, but you did it superbly. Awesome presentation. These could all be on exhibit in a photo art shop they are so beautiful. genie
Very creative shots! A whole new type of still life. Love it. Stopping over from the Wordless Wednesday blog hop & am enjoying your work. I'm now a follower. Stop by and visit us some time for some K9 photograpahy!

What an extraordinary series! Each one different, yet all with a common spirit... So original, elegant...
ReplyDeleteThis is one part of this art with which I struggle: creating such series, it asks for so much creativity and talent, among other things.
Congratulations, I am simply impressed.
