Learn To Be Still - Bucegi Mountains

It’s just another day in paradise as you stumble to your bed

You’d give anything to silence those voices ringing in your head

You thought you could find happiness just over that green hill

You thought you would be satisfied but you never will- Learn to be still
We are like sheep without a shepherd we don’t know how to be alone. Learn to be still

Maybe you’ve forgotten the heaven lying at your feet

There are so many contridictions in all these messages we send

 (we keep asking)

How do I get out of here

Where do I fit in?
Though the world is torn and shaken

Even if your heart is breakin’
It’s waiting for you to awaken

 And someday you will-

 Learn to be still

 Learn to be still

 You just keep on runnin’

Keep on runnin’

It’s just another day in paradise
As you stumble to your bed
You’d give anything to silence
Those voices ringing in your head
You thought you could find happiness
Just over that green hill
You thought you would be satisfied
But you never will-
Learn to be still

We are like sheep without a shepherd
We don’t know how to be alone
So we wander ’round this desert
And wind up following the wrong gods home
But the flock cries out for another
And they kep answering that bell
And one more starry-eyed messiah
Meets a violent farewell-
Learn to be still
Now the flowers in your garden
They don’t smell so sweet
Maybe you’ve forgotten
The heaven lying at your feet
There are so many contridictions
In all these messages we send
(we keep asking)
How do I get out of here
Where do I fit in?
Though the world is torn and shaken
Even if your heart is breakin’
It’s waiting for you to awaken
And someday you will-
Learn to be still
You just keep on runnin’
Keep on runnin’

  6. My initial thoughts about this series were how languages and religions and customs may change from country to country, but at times the natural landscape will fool a traveler and give him no hint of where he might be. Should I be walking where these photographs were taken, for instance, I might think I was in any number of places along the North American Rockies. In an inexplicable way, this is comforting to me.

My next thoughts were about the quality of your photography, Wind. To look at this series is more like looking through windows at the actual scenery outside than it is looking at photographs. Even though you have explained it, I still cannot understand how you accomplish it.

And, my last thoughts are about the music. The secret of the song, I think, is whether a person is running from somewhere or to somewhere.

  26. Mi s-a taiat respiratia; se simte si ozonul.

    Ma duce cu gandul la acatistul de multumire;

Superbe imagini!
