It is clear why this location was selected for construction of the fortress. The view is fantastic. No one would be able to approach unseen.
I could wander for hours in a place like this, and fall asleep for a while watching the clouds drift by while absorbing the essence of generations past still wandering within the ruins. Great photographs, Wind. They draw me into them.
By the way, I read your profile today for the first time, and learned something I had not known before. Now, I am laughing at myself a bit.
Excellent article, Wind I delight each of the photographies that you have exhibited, his light, his tones, details... Congratulation regards and good Thursday. Ramon
What an incredible walk through history!! Such a fantastic place and your captures are awesome! All of that and gorgeous skies as well! Superb! Enjoy your weekend1
Hi Wind, The contrast between the walls and sky is amazing. The binoculars and the last silhouette with the cloud works well but for me it is 3 and 9. I do however like the variety in your window studies... even down to the bricks ! regards J
