deh, în tinereţe am mişunat prin jurul Braşovului şi Sibiului, dar uite că la Râşnov la cetate n-am urcat niciodată... spor la weekend :) ai grijă de tine
History is one of my two loves in an academic sense and part of my psyche in an intellectual sense, so it was a genuine pleasure to view these photographs, Wind.
Visiting places such as Rasnov Fortress makes the past real and brings the people who lived before me back to life. I would hope to walk the streets there someday, touch the ruins and breathe the air so that it would become part of me.
Thank you, for transporting me to Romania once again.
Wonderful photos, Wind! Thank you for the lovely tour of the castle and fortress. The first shot is my favorite. I love the beautiful sky and the trees along with the castle.
What a great place and of course photos. I would have to be dragged out of there if I ever had the chance to photograph it! :) You live in a beautiful area.
Interesant de vazut cum o poza poate uni oameni. Vad ca ai vizitatori din SUA, Olanda, Spania, R. Moldova, Romania, Grecia ... Frumoasa serie si foarte interesanta !
Hi Wind, wonderful set of images full of history and character. Great door, window and street compositions and I love that colour texture on the castle wall. With all that walking up the hill, it's a shame you couldn't find a seat to rest your legs although I am imagining that the last image is a fold away seat !! Have a great weekend... I'm away, not too far though.... conference, regards, J
Frumoasa colectie, fotografiile sunt minunate desi cetatea nu mi se pare asa frumoasa. Dar tot ce iese din mana ta e imbracat intr-o tinuta distinsa, eleganta ....
Hi Wind, Thank you for your thoughtful comment on my blog. Wow, you captured the beautiful place in such a fantastic photos. Are they HDR? If so, it's a fantastic tone mapping works!!! I am a big fan of HDR photo, although I am still learning! Have a wonderful weekend. Yoshi
This is SUPERB Wind. What a wonderful serie with adventures and one naughty ghost included perhaps. ;) And a plus since me, like many others, love castles and old fortress. I am still building my own castle, palace or fortress, or the three perhaps =) And it will be an unsurpassable one, as it will be a castle i will carry with me all of the time.
Inside me as a matter of fact ;) I am sure you got the point.
Have a wonderful weekend dear Daliana, and fly so much as free as the wind.
E la o aruncatura de bat de mine, sper ca data viitoare cand mai vii bem un ceai la Rasnov :)
