Butterfly Castle - Schmetterling Haus - Austria trip (2)






















Schmetterlinghaus

This magical experience is right in the centre of Vienna, just 200 meters from the opera building. The butterfly house is to be found inside one of the worlds most magnificent "Jugendstil" greenhouses, a part of the royal palace (Hofburg)

    Uite, cine zicea ca pun eu mugurasi! Pai cu fluturii tai cum ramane pe vremea asta...?

    Cel mai mult imi plac: "butterfly neon" si "butterfly strange". Au ceva magic :)

    Well, this butterflies has a castle...in Vienna's Imperial Palace! There was hundreds of uncaged butterflies from all over the globe (including the Atlas, with a wing span of 11 inches (30 cm).Wild with tropical foliage and set to a humid 80 degrees year-round they fly around you without fear!

    Zburau in jurul meu se asezau pe aparatul foto...ca in desenele animate din copilarie!
    Mi-a ramas in cap sunetul aripilor...
    Daca le faci si tu castele mugurilor, ma anunti!

    Love the macros -- their legs are amazing as well as the fuzzy heads and chest. Nice capture of the details in their wings. That Vienna palace is on my wish list to visit.

    Wind, these are top class with the colours, detail and cropping. There are subliminal contrasting colours coming from the background. It's hard to pick a favourite again but after much thought given to 2,4,6, 7,10 and 13 with a special mention for 9..... mine is number............ sorry, i can't decide !!

    Trupuri si antene filigranate, ca intr-un desen in penita...culori vii ca niste flori cu aripi...foarte frumos!
